Mark Cichon
Managing Director
Mark Cichon joined DDB as Strategic Planning Director in 2004, before being promoted to Managing Director in September 2005.
Mark has over 13 years experience in Central Europe and Australia (marketing communications, strategic planning, top management).
Strongly believes in the spirit of collaborative co-creation between agency partners and clients, and the value of at least one DDB Pub Night per month.
Previously worked for Vodafone, VW, McDonald’s, Provident, Henkel, Kodak, ING, Cussons, Bulmers Cider, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, RAA Insurance and Tenneco Automotive.
Special skills: Yoga lotus position and preparation of great Bloody Mary cocktails.
Aleš Fiala
Creative Director
Ales Fiala has been with DDB since March 2010 as a creative director.
Previously Ales worked as a copywriter and led the creative groups at JWT, Kaspen, McCann / Erickson, Red Cell and Mark / BBDO.
Ales believes the foundation of good advertising is a good brief so he always prefers a close cooperation with the client.
He likes to improve and gain new experiences and skills; both at work (he has almost twenty years of experience working for many international and Czech clients - Nescafe, Maggi, Vodafone / Oskar, Pepsi, Douwe Egberts, Panasonic, Nokia, T-Mobile, Mazda, Citroen Algida, Durex ...), as well as in his personal life.
Other interests: animated film, the history of mankind and classical martial arts
Awards: several Czech and also international awards, such as The Nutcracker, Golden Stone, Effie, Epica, Moebius ...
Petr Vykoukal
Finance Director
Peter Vykoukal has been with DDB since April 2010. Previously he had worked for more than a decade as a finance director in the MARK / BBDO agency. Peter's even earlier work history is associated with the media; almost six years he worked in a private radio group “Lagardére” (Frequency 1, Europe 2) and almost thirteen years in the Czech Television.
Peter believes that together with honesty, diligence, and consistency associated with hard work, one can reach all pre-set ambitions; even though it may seem at first glance almost impossible goal. He believes that propriety doesn’t equal to weakness.
Among his interests mainly belong music and wine. In his earlier years it used to be women, but today one of his favorites is rather tennis, which he is trying to improve for a long time but without any visible result so far.
Tomas Mondschein
Studio Manager
Tomik Mondschein has worked at DDB since January 2004 as Traffic&Studio Manager. He came across from Leo Burnett Prague (3 years, Studio manager), and before that Tomik spent 5 years at Ark Thompson as Manager of Studio Engine room.
Previously worked for McDonald’s, Nestlé, Nokia, Eurotel, Vodafone, Tiscali, Centrum, Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus, ČSOB, Živnostenská Banka, Česká Spořitelna, VW, Mazda, Renault, Shell, Tesco, Henkel etc.
Special skills: DTP, pre press, print technology, any IT issue with Apple.
Awards: Tomik is in fact behind every DDB award because he prepares all the boring yet important submissions. But is highly appreciated by winning the 2007 Bernbach of the year award (because it is voted by DDB staff!)
Miroslav Lizec
Strategic Planning Director
Mirek Lizec came to the DDB team in 2007 from the client side, which was Nestlé. Mirek worked in Nestlé in several marketing and sales positions, yet the most recent one was as a marketing manager of confectionary.
Thanks to his past he perfectly understands the clients language. His motto is - even the best strategy is useless if it doesn’t end with a great and effective creativity. For that reason, he spends a lot of time together with the creative team.
Mirek also supports the DDB Tribal in Vienna, where he works as a regional strategic planner for CEE. In his portfolio can be found clients such as: McDonald's, Volkswagen, Wrigley, Henkel, Vodafone, Safety Line, Kunin, Unilever or SCA.
He enjoys escaping with his family to the South Bohemian Forest „Sumava“. Mirek also likes riding the bike, running around the woods and also any ball sports. An interesting sign is his dependence on the series „Red Dwarf“.
