When in a foreign country, tourists like trying local food. After some time, though, they get sick of it and start craving something familiar, something that they know. We promoted traditional Czech cuisine and local restaurants (our direct competition). And in return - restaurants pass on our message (“When you’ve had enough of Czech cuisine, you know where to find us“) and a map of McDonalds’ locations to guests.

With use of humor in this 100% local beef burger campaign we have helped McDonald’s not only achieve record sales, but also regain its reputation as the true quality burger specialist.
Who are the employees of McDonald´s? This campaign introduces them as a group of interesting people with interesting hobbies.
Big Mac is the most legendary burger in the entire world. A true pop-culture icon. Everybody knows it, but a surprisingly small percentage of millennials have actually tasted it. Therefore, for the celebration of Big Mac’s 50th birthday, we decided to go big with a singular goal in our mind: to make Big Mac cool again. We created a #BigMacForever fashion collection, took a trip down the memory lane and designed a complex experience for the general public. At its end, no one will be a stranger to the great taste of Big Mac anymore.
Campaign uses wry humour and an offbeat look to tell the amusing life story of the charismatic Kryštof, a man who might not have always made the best decisions in his life, except when it came to his finances. Thanks to ČSOB, he has more money on his account than he used to have. Key joke is based on the double meaning – “used to have” [“míval”] sounds the same as “raccoon” [“mýval”].
A concept for the Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME) division of ČSOB Bank celebrated entrepreneurship and a depiction of ČSOB as a bank, which cares for entrepreneurs and does not see the end results of their work, but the entire process that preceeds it.
In this Billa campaign we also created POS material that communicated their customer loyalty program. Customers had the opportunity to get their favourite soft toy in the shape of various different fruits and vegetables. We even filmed a bedtime story serial for TV Barrandov and DVD.
This Billa campaign communicated local products and suppliers, that one can buy exclusively in Billa.

We asked foreigners who found their new home in our country what they thought about Czechs. Our goal was to show Czechs what they are really like. We published foreigners’ experience in videos and on posters and added the hashtag “mezi svými” (among fellow citizens). The second part of the campaign then told the rest of the story of how Czechs helped these immigrants when they first arrived here and found everything foreign, how friendly Czechs were towards them and made them feel like among their fellow citizens. We wanted Czechs to be proud of themselves even without cheap nationalism and xenophobia. Paradoxically, it had to be immigrants who told us we are better than rumours say.
